"When I arrived in Dayton," Nancy recalls, "I immediately sensed that this was the place that I had been searching for." "I fell in love with this city and it became so contagious that I wanted to give back in a positive way."

Nancy soon found herself serving as a Trustee for Dayton's public fine arts classical radio station, WDPR/WDPG-FM. She joined the Dayton chapter of the American Institute of Wine and Food, a perfect complement to her interest in gourmet dining, as well as serving as a Consumer Advisory Board Member of Dorothy Lane Markets. She also joined Normandy United Methodist Church and has become quite actively involved.

Despite her philanthropic efforts, Nancy still longed for more and decided upon a career change, concluding that a real estate career would allow her to combine her love for the city with her business savvy and experience.
